As the Field Inventory Audit Manager you will maintain oversight and drive excellence for Field inventory cycle counting compliance program for the Orthopaedics Divisions. You will be responsible for ensuring field inventory balances are complete, accurate, and in compliance with Stryker Accounting policies. You will also work closely with the Field Quality Manager and Branch/Agency locations in monitoring, coordinating, and executing inventory count activities.
Although you will have the flexibility to work remotely, you will need to live within a reasonable commuting distance from any US Stryker location.

What you will do
Ensure the effective design, implementation, and operation of field inventory cycle count program in compliance with Stryker’s operations and accounting policies
Partner with the Field Quality Manager to further develop and improve field cycle counting policies and practices
Continuously monitor a complete population and field inventory locations and cycle count activity ensuring count totals align with annual program objectives
Coordinate and execute annual on-site field inventory audits. Typically, 12 to 15 field audits per year.
Conduct monthly cycle count documentation audits ensuring local field cycle counts executed appropriately, all required supporting documentation is retained, and all inventory adjustments are appropriately approved and recorded to the general ledger
Serve as the primary point of contact for field inventory inquires and requests from the Internal and External auditors including process walkthroughs, cycle count observations, and audit sample documentation.
Ensure all audit requests are completed in a timely manner, any findings are appropriately challenged, and management actions plans completed.
Monitor and analyze shrink expense on a monthly basis, providing support and commentary to management for movement and fluctuations within the period
Build and maintain effective working relationships with cross functional business partners
Perform ad-hoc analysis and special projects as requested from time to time.
What you need
Bachelor’s degree required
8+ years’ experience required in Audit, Accounting, and/or Inventory Operations preferred
Knowledge of inventory cycle count processes
Commitment to excellence and high standards with acute attention to detail
Highly organized with excellent task, time, and project management skills
Knowledge of PowerBI is a plus
$95,100 – $204,000 salary plus bonus eligible + Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Wellbeing Program, Employee Stock Purchase Program). This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position based on current national data. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
