About the Position:
Registered Nurse responsible for supervising a team of telephonic Clinical Nurse Navigators utilizing professional and telephonic support skills and strong leadership abilities to meet and exceed client objectives. This role will work collaboratively with VMS cross functional partners and their own team to enhance the patient experience and support patient adherence initiatives.
This role will oversee a CE team responsible for patient navigation, including managing a consistent caseload and supporting patients with benefits support, Specialty Pharmacy, and medication delivery process. The team will routinely communicate with HUB, specialty pharmacy and co-pay program support.
Essential Functions:
Call Monitoring and Ongoing Coaching to ensure:

• The team supports patients in their caseload using the customized journey identified for each patient
• Clinical Educators use intuition and clinical expertise, in the moment, to provide patients with the most appropriate and beneficial responses to their questions
• Members of the team demonstrate empathy and can effectively engage patients, and quickly create an connection built on trust and rapport
• The team utilizes motivational interviewing to quickly, yet accurately “assess” patient need; can personalize patient message concisely in a way that resonates
• Clinical Educators anticipate and address barriers, even when not openly offered by the patient or when patient demonstrates uncertainty
• Collaboration with Specialty Pharmacy, HUB, Co-pay assistance and other providers is smooth and results in a high level of patient confidence

Collaboration and Managing Objectives:

• Ensure success of program through collaborative partnerships with their team and Customer Experience Center peers, Compliance, and Strategic Account partners.
• Work with team members to meet needs, identify collaborative opportunities, and provide feedback for process improvement
• Coach and motivate through training, quality touch bases (1:1), call monitoring with timely feedback and ongoing mentoring
• Lead and facilitate job training related to day-to-day responsibilities, new hire training and enhancements
• Analyze and respond to data; identify performance gaps and determine a solution to close the gaps
• Conduct inbound and outbound patient calls when needed
• Provide reporting and recaps to cross functional team members
• Act as subject matter expert for supported networks
• Work closely with the Senior Director, Customer Experience on team dynamics, challenges, ideas and personal growth
• Ensure all activities are conducted in a manner that is compliant with all VMS, client, and industry mandated rules and regulations

Required License and/or credential(s):

• Current, unrestricted RN license

Required Skills:

• 3 Years Telephonic/Virtual education experience, including supervising a clinical team
• Knowledge of product and payer reimbursement environment and an awareness of prior authorization processes
• Familiarity with Specialty Pharmacy, HUB and other service providers and how to collaborate
• Demonstrated strong coaching background with a team to consistently meet results
• High level of comfort with technology, including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tool
• Confidence in reviewing and responding to data including performance and call metrics
• Leadership qualities including strong communication skills, self-motivation, team building skills, emotional intelligence, and goal setting abilities
• Willingness to perform the most complex tasks and manage work utilizing critical thinking, problem solving skills, and superior time management
