The VDOT Northern Virginia District is excited to offer and announce an opportunity to serve as an HR Assistant/ Admin and Office Specialist III (part-time/hourly). The incumbent will provide administrative support in the following areas: benefits administration, new employee orientation, hiring, background check processes, shared services/personnel action transactions, maintenance and tracking for a variety of ad-hoc databases and spreadsheets, data entry, records management, non-payroll transactions, award/recognition programs, and training.

This position is a part-time (wage) position limited to working 1500 hours a year and does not offer state benefits.
