The Senior Manager-Systems Engineering in the CSG (Corporate Systems Group) Digital Automation Team Center of Excellence will build and lead an organization to develop and support emerging technology solutions, such as Robotic Process and Desktop Automation (RPA/RDA), Process and Task Mining, Ai Solutions and other cognitive technologies. Desired candidate will have a strong background in Agile and other System Development Lifecycles, as well as the business acumen to support the management, communication and strategic activities to mature the CSG Digital Automation Solutions Group CoE.

The ideal candidate will be a thought leader working cross-functionally within the CSG Digital Automation Solutions CoE and partner inter-departmentally across departments like Finance, Supply Chain, Employee and Customer Experience and many other Corporate directives. This individual should be able to interpret customer feedback and anticipate needs while matching them to our emerging tech solutions. The candidate will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives and leveraging complex methods, metrics and tools to achieve business benefits and corporate goals.

• Leading all aspects of the development and delivery of disruptive technology and tools, such as Robotic Process and Desktop Automation (RPA/RDA), Process and Task Mining and Ai Solutions along with other cognitive technologies.
• Leading all aspects of managing the automation-based platforms.
• Defining standards and best practices for efficient and secure development of emerging tech solutions.
• Handling responsibility and decision authority focused comprehensively on the execution, delivery, and ongoing support of these projects (end to end development and deployment).
• Supporting the intake of all potential, known and existing robotic use cases with our business partner teams and with stakeholder groups inside and outside of the Corporate based eco-system, to identify high-value opportunities for tool adoption; assist users with intake form entry, review submissions, make recommendations and drive decisions toward ideal prioritization to expedite value-add to Verizon.
• Handling day to day activity of Verizon employees and oversight of third-party vendor resources.
• Assisting and partner with IT, vendors, and business partners on infrastructure reviews and decisions.
• Working with stakeholder community to promote compliance with standards, guidelines, leading practices, security, and risk management in accordance with guidelines and processes.
• Forecasting financial, physical, and human resource needs to meet established objectives.
• Providing compliance to Verizon-wide policies and procedures or direct impact on the re-design of existing policies and procedures.
• Completing complex projects applying independent judgment and a high level of outcome ownership.
• Performing in a high volume, fast paced changing environment with good time management skills and the ability to work independently, accurately, and with a high degree of organization.

In this hybrid role, you’ll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for…

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of financial systems and accounting principles.
• Experience in deploying solutions with tools such as Robotics Processing and Desktop Automation (RPA/RDA), Process and Task Mining solutions, Ai technology solutions and advanced analytics.
• Experience in managing onshore and offshore teams of more than twenty resources.

Even better if you one or more of the following:

• An advanced degree.
• Five or more years of work experience in a management role with ability to manage and status multiple concurrent projects and deliverables.
• Experience in UiPath platform.
• Strong Google Application skills with the ability to synthesize complex ideas into visual presentations suitable for executive consumption.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills and the ability to interact with team members and internal customers.
• Experience in Agile project facilitation, delivery, SCRUM role, as well as SDLC.
• Strong conflict resolution and negotiating skills.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
