Vector Talent Resources Hiring for Staff Accountant – Fully Remote! Job at Remote Full Time

Vector Talent Resources is seeking an experienced Accountant with advanced knowledge in QuickBooks Online and at least 5 years of progressive accounting and bookkeeping experience. The right candidate will be extremely detail oriented and will have the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This is a fully remote position!

Successful candidates must have experience working with factoring companies.

Vector is looking to have someone start as soon as possible!

Essential Functions:
Manage all day-to-day aspects of accounting operations, including: all transactions related to general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll, and financial reporting.

Required Tasks:

• Maintaining accurate financial records for the organization in compliance with generally accepted policies and procedures and legislative requirements.
• Creating and maintaining A/R and A/P files
• Managing the invoicing process through QuickBooks Online
• Overseeing all collections efforts to include preparing and maintaining weekly delinquency reports, preparing delinquent employer correspondences, and following up through payment, including the calculation of interest and penalties.
• Preparing and submitting all vendor payments
• Reconciling bank and other account statements
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual schedules and financial reports
• Preparing staff payroll and retirement contributions
• Managing all tax planning and compliance with all required federal, state, local, payroll, property and other applicable taxes.
• Effectively communicate and present critical financial matters to CEO

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (payroll, AP/AR, bookkeeping)
• Familiarity working with a factoring company
• Extensive knowledge of QuickBooks Online, MS Excel, MS Word, Microsoft Word, and GAAP
• Experience working with various timekeeping and payroll systems.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organization and administrative skills
• Ability to juggle multiple, concurrent projects and to anticipate and meet deadlines
• Excels in both an independent and collaborative environment

Pay: $55,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
