Job Description
Payrate: $32/hr
Contract (temp for someone on Mat Leave until October)
REMOTE
-Hybrid role of 60% event planning 40% marketing and content
-Someone who can assist on full planning of primarily virtual events
-Scope of events -building a project plan to running the project plan or the speaker notes
-Preparing Event emails for before meeting after, Swag and other items
-Robust communications, someone who has worked with a variety of different partners, early talent, equity, variety of different teams. Remote team in the United States
-Working on the Splash page, social media content possibly, Q&A, speaker talking points
-5+ years in a smaller space would be great because they where many hats.
Coordinates and implements events and event marketing communication projects with responsibilities that include special events management, email marketing, and creating employer brand awareness. Build timelines and coordinate logistics to execute on events in partnership with internal teams and external vendors and partners. Track and capture event results and incorporate key learning in event recaps to develop successful future events.. May require a bachelor’s degree in area of specialty and required years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
