Responsible for planning, coordinating, and facilitating a variety of university events and assisting the President’s Office, University Marketing & Communication (UMAC) office, Advancement/Development office, and Utah Tech University (UT) campus community with organizing high-level events and promotions on campus and in the community. Responsible for creating and maintaining campus event standards and procedures. Provides event training and coordination with UT event personnel, volunteers, and others assisting with campus events. As the lead for individuals who have event planning responsibilities, this position contributes to the creation of meaningful and impactful events that garner press and brand awareness, foster strong community relations, and increase revenue and donor loyalty. POSITION DETAILS, COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Full-time professional staff (overtime-exempt) position. Annual salary of $65,000+ depending on qualifications & experience. Desired start date of February 2024.
