Sterile processing Techs at UT Southwestern enjoy abundant opportunities for advancement and growth. We have Education support in the department that can help you attain additional certifications. Our Techs enjoy exposure to a wide variety of services including Da Vinci robotics. Our friendly, diverse staff are a collaborative group that all strive to achieve the same goals. We have supportive management and open communication within the department.

Working Conditions
Constant walking, standing, bending, turning, and stooping. Pushing and pulling heavy objects. Must be able to lift 20 lbs., heavy boxes, and instrument sets. Demonstrate willingness to respond to all reasonable requests from supervisor in an appropriate and timely manner.
Any qualifications to be considered as equivalents in lieu of stated minimums require prior approval of the Vice President for Human Resources Administration, or his/her designee.
