Job Summary:
The Research Program Coordinator works with PIs, cross functional support teams, and key stakeholders to support the initiation and management of the new biobanking project at the School of Medicine and Public Health and ensure that supply and sample management needs meet the study design requirements. The Research Program Coordinator supports all the study compliance requirements including assisting with protocol development, managing IRB and biosafety submissions. The incumbent ensures that all data and specimen releases follow institutional, state and US regulations. This position will also work with the School of Medicine and Public Health Communications team to develop and distribute internal communications, press releases, and participant engagement materials.
The ideal candidate will be adaptable to rapid changes, detail-oriented, able to organize, present, and convey problems or issues and propose possible solutions; have a strong sense of urgency, collaborate effectively amongst a team, manage and adapt to changing priorities, communicate well in both written and verbal mediums, coordinate and track project-related tasks, and apply prior clinical research experience to this program.

Education:

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
* 5+ years’ experience in a clinical research coordinator or regulatory affairs and participant engagement specialist role working in areas outlined in the duties
* 5+ years’ experience in a research project management support role
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
* Proven understanding of FDA, GCP, IRB and Biosafety requirements
* Good understanding of Informatics systems (e.g., REDCap and Biobanking) functionality and requirements
