Job Summary:
The position will be in Dunn County, WI and will primarily serve Dunn County and surrounding communities. This position provides support to the 4-H program. Primary responsibilities include communications, database management, and project coordination.
About the Program Support Position
General Administrative and Project Coordination
* Serve as a resource to manage 4-H enrollment information, 4-H charters, award distribution and other special projects
* Manage 4-H online enrollment software; prepare reports and other strategic communications at the request of the 4-H Program Educator
* Support the coordination of logistics for 4-H programs. This includes registration, participant communications, and other physical and logistical details.
Communication and Graphic Design
* Assist with promotion of 4-H membership, programming and policies through a communication plan that ensures effective interaction with audiences and stakeholders
* In collaboration with 4-H Extension Educator and the Outreach Support Associate, monitor, prepare and update educational and promotional information via email, mail, websites and social media
Other Responsibilities
* Collaborate with local colleagues to promote a positive office environment, determine local needs, and share resources
* Develop and maintain respectful and trusting relationships with colleagues and volunteers
* Work in accordance with UW-Madison and Division of Extension policies and procedures relating to the Positive Youth Development Institute.

Required:
* Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional work environments and relationships
* Ability to effectively work with people from different cultural backgrounds, including those associated with race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, socioeconomic status, age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, and other aspects of human diversity
* Ability to communicate effectively using a variety of methods and technology
* Ability to work independently and productively with minimal supervision
Preferred:
* Post secondary education
* Experience with community-based outreach and education
* Experience with project management
* Experience managing multiple tasks, timelines, and schedules while maintaining high quality work
* Experience developing partnerships with other agencies, community-based services, or organizations

It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.
