This position works with the Assistant Director of University Recreation Facilities and Events Management to provide leadership in managing events being hosted in the Campus Center. It provides direct oversight of the events student staff and their development

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Required Experience
Event operations experience that includes management of a large student team. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, staff, and members of the community at-large
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Education
Master’s Degree in Student Affairs, Business Administration, Sports Management, Recreation, Communications, or other related field
Preferred Experience
2+ or more years of progressive experience in event management/operations in university recreation. Experience supervising multiple levels of staff including: undergraduate and graduate
Preferred Certifications
A/V certification American Red Cross First Aid, CPR, AED Instructor
Proposed Salary
Salary Range
$19.23 – $21.63 hourly, paid bi-weekly
