The Department of Surgery in the School of Medicine at the University of Virginia seeks a Senior Administrative Coordinator. The Senior Administrative Coordinator provides operational support to Department of Surgery leadership for faculty and staff hiring and onboarding processes, liaising with human resources and faculty affairs, managing visa application and renewal processes, employee recognition, and other administrative functions. The Senior Administrative Coordinator demonstrates understanding of the organizational culture and business drivers and is able to anticipate team needs and expectations. The successful candidate interprets policies and establishes internal procedures across multiple functional areas and performs work tasks independently with little supervision.

Education: High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s preferred
Experience: Six years of experience. Bachelor’s degree may substitute for experience.
This position is located in Charlottesville, VA.
