The University of Virginia’s School of Education and Human Development seeks qualified applicants for the Department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Special Education to teach and provide content expertise for programs in curriculum and instruction. Opportunities are available on-grounds at the University of Virginia and online.
The successful candidate will possess a PhD in Education or Doctorate in Education specializing in Curriculum and Instruction or a related field. Applicants must have a strong commitment to teaching excellence and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Previous preK-12 or post-secondary education teaching experience in the course content area is strongly preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
