Research Clinical Coordinator

Posting Summary:
Provide technical and administrative guidance and perform data management functions in support of University research projects in the Department of Emergency Medicine to include patient screening, enrollment, follow-up, teaching and mentoring, data extraction and analysis. Implement and coordinate SAMHSA funded Start Treatment and Recovery (STAR) program. The STAR program consists of assisting patients in the Emergency Department suffering from Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) access and receive treatment. Oversee the day-to-day study operations, enrollment, data collection, outreach and project initiation. Research Clinical Coordinators are study champions, working with Emergency Department providers and other stake holders to ensure the process is utilized.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience):
Bachelor’s degree with two – three years of related experience to include experience in a research environment required. Working knowledge of software applications used to support area operations required. Effective communication and interpersonal skills required. Attention to detail and discretion with confidential information required.
Desirable Qualifications:
Clinical background including EMS certification (EMT, AEMT or Paramedic).Experience with RedCap, Microsoft Office (Excel), SPSS, STATA.
