CEMS Business Manager

Posting Summary:
Coordinate and manage the business and financial activities of the College with the Assistant Dean of Finance. Work with the Assistant Dean of Finance, Assistant Dean of Operations, CEMS Operations Manager, and HR Manager to manage the general funds of the College ensuring regular, accurate, and timely distribution and use of general and non-sponsored restricted funds. Work with the CEMS Business Specialist to ensure timely and accurate distribution of reports to internal stakeholders including chairs and faculty administrators. Review and approve College financial transactions with internal and external partners. Perform complex contract review for the College.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience):
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and two to fours years related financial/business experience required.
Desirable Qualifications:
Knowledge of PeopleSoft, Microsoft Office Suite and 3 years grant management experience.
Other Information:
Final compensation will be determined in consideration of finalist’s experience and in consideration of departmental peers’ experience per the University’s administration of the UVM Staff United compensation guidelines.

Bargaining unit position, A probationary period may be required, A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy, Background Check required for this position
