Job Summary:
The John and Marcia Price College of
Engineering is looking for an experienced and talented individual to join our accounting team as an Accountant. The college
accounting team serves eight departments and programs. The accountant position will oversee evidence of review (EOR) reporting, credit card reconciliation and audit, prepare and assess student payroll, analyze financial information,
and develop and prepare reports and financial statements.

Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
Problem
Solving:This position requires the ability to apply generally accepted accounting principles, federal cost accounting regulations
and University policies and procedures to a variety of situations. The incumbent must be able to interpret complex policies and effectively
communicate the information in an easily understood manner. The incumbent is required to provide analysis of each situation and use
professional judgement in reaching a solution. The Accountant is expected to recommend changes to accounting based procedures based upon
analysis performed and specialized knowledge.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or a related
field, plus one year related experience or equivalency (two years of related work experience can be substituted for one year of education)
required. A thorough understanding of general ledger accounting practices, cost analysis and accounting principles, as well as demonstrated
analytical, problem solving, human relations and effective communication skills also required.
Knowledge of PeopleSoft or Access
databases may be preferred in some areas.
