Under the direction of the Associate Dean, Research, and support of the Strategic Research Development Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting the effectiveness, efficiency, and success of efforts to attract research funding to the Faculty of Music. The incumbent will be responsible for promoting research initiatives to increase program visibility and reputation, coordinating the preparation of submission materials for both faculty and student body, writing grant applications, keeping well-informed on funding opportunities and resources, application policies/procedures and key deadlines, overseeing tasks related to the production and dissemination of communications/marketing materials and planning and administering expenditures for the operating budget.

USW Pay Band 11 — $67,659 with an annual step progression to a maximum of $86,523. Pay scale and job class assignment is subject to determination pursuant to the Job Evaluation/Pay Equity Maintenance Protocol.
