Your opportunity:
The Department of Medicine (DOM) is one of the largest in North America, with 830 full-time faculty members, 1,000 postgraduate trainees, and 20 specialty and sub-specialty divisions located across six fully-affiliated hospitals, four community-affiliated hospitals and more than a dozen additional clinical practice sites. We are a powerhouse of medical research, with more than $162-million in annual research funding. This research generates new knowledge with the goal of meaningfully impacting internal medicine training and the care and health outcomes of patients and their families.
As Research Coordinator, you will work closely with the Vice Chair, Research and the Research Administrator to support our department’s extensive research portfolio. Your strong interpersonal and organizational skills will enable you to successfully navigate a multifaceted network and foster positive relationships with faculty, granting agencies and collaborators. You will utilize your resourcefulness and attention to detail while supporting interrelated projects that involve large amounts of coordination. You will achieve great success in this role by supporting our research goals and meeting time sensitive grant deliverables.

USW Pay Band 09 — $65,407 with an annual step progression to a maximum of $83,646. Pay scale and job class assignment is subject to determination pursuant to the Job Evaluation/Pay Equity Maintenance Protocol.
