The USC Alfred E. Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Titus Family Department of Clinical Pharmacy is seeking a Research Associate.
The Research Associate is expected to work independently under the direction of Dr. Stan Louie and in close collaboration/consultation with other research lab staff. This research project combines drug screening using both molecular and cellular models. In addition, animal studies will be performed in acute toxicity and efficacy studies. The pharmacokinetics of these compounds will be analyzed using LC-MS, where the research associated will need to acquire the raw data analyzed using pharmacokinetic modeling to producing a final result report. All duties will be conducted in accordance with good laboratory practice (GLP) policies and procedures.

The annual base salary range for this position is $66,000 – $67,000. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
Minimum Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate
Minimum Experience: 1 year
Minimum Field of Expertise: Directly related education and experience in research specialization with advanced knowledge of equipment, procedures and analysis methods.
