Advertised Job Summary:
This Project Operations Manager (POM) position will organize and coordinate all required compliances training including animal use protocol (AUP) training. The POM will also be responsible for coordinating the efforts of Dr. Qun Lu and Dr. Yan-Hua Chen on neurotherapeutics projects. These drug discovery and development specific projects will research with modern high content imaging technology such as high throughput screening using fluorescence microscopy and surface plasma resonance (SPR). POM will additionally be responsible for operations involving data analysis including statistical analyses.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science or equivalent in biomedicine or a related area and 3 or more years of experience, which may be substituted by equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
10 years of undisrupted research experiences with MS degree in biomedicine familiar with research compliances.

Laboratory Compliances Training: Liaison with USC to produce laboratory-tailored compliance guidelines; Direct training for all new team members to comply with Federal, State and USC guidelines, such as chemical and safety, animal use protocol, Institutional Research Board, etc; Manage and monitor laboratory compliances
