Look no further! We want YOU in Teaching and Learning Technologies, on the eLearning Services team in the Division of Information Technology!
The ideal applicant for the eLearning Services Consultant position has a track record of excellent customer service skills, base knowledge and troubleshooting skills around the Blackboard Learn LMS, comfortability with training, presenting and providing consultation to faculty and other university constitutes, and has a forward-thinking frame of mind. In addition, this applicant also has working knowledge of using data analytics tools both internal and external to an LMS.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree and 1-year relevant program experience or Bachelor’s degree and three years experience in instructional technology or equivalent field.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to plan and organize the implementation of short and long-range computer system support activities, systems, projects, and objectives.
Job Duty:
Performs system administrator duties and support for the USC Blackboard LMS, including troubleshooting issues, responding to ServiceNow incidents and requests, helping plan and conduct user acceptance testing of upgrades and support of third-party integrations.

Responsible for staying up to date on monthly releases of Bb Learn SaaS. Update eLS of new features, known issues, and bug fixes in the releases. Keep eLS informed on when Staging and Production will be updated with the latest releases. Test new features in releases, inform eLS manager of any potential issues, and report issues to Blackboard Inc. Create Standard ServiceNow changes for upgrades to Production environments.

The secondary person for coordinating and scheduling eLS training and professional development for faculty, teaching assistants, and staff. Assists primary training coordinator and fills in for primary as needed. Coordinates with eLS, Human Resources, and the Center for Teaching Excellence to set up training, adding the sessions to the official University Calendar, and works with DoIT communications and others to promote training opportunities.
