Advertised Job Summary:
Responsible for development and implementation of one or more research programs or initiatives. Work collaboratively and efficiently with research nurse to deliver the intervention component of the study per the protocol, study procedures, and in strict accordance with established timelines.
Works individually and in concert with COVID-Survivor and their respective care Partner to operationalize the devised wellness goals/plans by providing resources navigation; facilitating access to care and other community resources in conjunction with identified and barriers.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1 year related research experience, or high school diploma and 5 years related research experience. Valid SC Driver’s license. Flexible schedule to be pre-arranged with supervising team leader. Some evenings/weekends may be necessary to meet project deliverables. Must obtain University of Miami (UM) CITI and GCP course certification within 14 days of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and one year experience in public health or non-profit administration, health administrative services or other health professional services or a high school diploma and 5 years related experience. Health care related fields or community organizing/advocacy experience related to meeting the health needs of underserved populations.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Experience working with under-resourced communities or historically marginalized adult populations with comorbid health conditions. Experience with collaborative community based rural health research or clinical trials. Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Word-Excel PowerPoint-Outlook-Teams. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multi-task a variety of functions. Organized, self-motivated, and detailed oriented. Must be able to work with limited supervision. Flexible schedule to be pre-arranged with supervising team leader. Some evenings/weekends may be necessary to meet project deliverables. Must obtain University of Miami (UM) CITI and GCP course certification within 14 days of employment.
