Advertised Job Summary:
Administrative Coordinator for the Division of South Carolina Children’s Advocacy Medical Response System (SCCAMRS), Department of Pediatrics, USC School of Medicine. Provides administrative and logistical support for projects between project directors and the state Children’s Advocacy Centers, Children’s hospitals and their respective healthcare providers and administrative staff. Prepares presentations and statistical reports for the statewide functions of the program. Oversees the program office budget and expenses. Develops and updates data tools, updates and manages program database and website. Develops administrative policies, online resources and webinars in Child Abuse Pediatrics. Demonstrates commitment to conducting business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree and 1 year related experience in business, public administration or administrative services, or bachelor’s degree and 3 years related experience; or equivalency.
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of software programs such as Adobe Acrobat Professional/LiveCycle Designer to create dynamic fillable forms. Experience with collection and organization of data.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Must have the ability to effectively plan and organize work activities and prioritize task completion to meet schedules and deadlines. Ability to assign appropriate priorities to work activities based on organizational goals and situational pressures. Ability to conceptualize needed change and to initiate appropriate activities to move from concepts implementation. Requires excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Required to conduct business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures and regulations.
Job Duty:
Prepare presentations and statistical reports for the statewide functions of the program. Manage and review the data entry and enhance reimbursement claims processed. Collects and tracks data to assess provision of statewide medical services in Child Abuse Pediatrics and to ascertain healthcare providers’ compliance with the quality standards associated with such services.
