The University of Puget Sound is hiring a Catering & Event Manager to join our Dining & Event Services Department! The Catering & Events Manager oversees operations for Event & Catering Services. The primary duties of the Catering & Event Manager are to supervise the set-up and service of all catering & event functions and also includes the hiring, training, and support of catering event staff & student staff.

Please note:
To be considered for this role, a candidate must:
Have two years of related experience to include supervisory or lead responsibilities in a hotel banquet or catering environment; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Respectfully work, communicate, and provide leadership within a diverse campus community.
Compensation and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $58,000 to $60,000 annually. Decisions about starting salaries are made based on the extent and relatedness of the candidate’s education and experience and on internal equity and market considerations.
This position is non-exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
