Job Description Summary
Dr. Johnson’s
laboratory is a growing lab, focused on communication in healthcare. Current projects including developing a national database of medical
visit information, recruiting patients and providers to have their clinic encounters reviewed to see how AI can improve them, using AI and
machine learning to automate the delivery of responses to patient portal messages. The lab also is home to projects related to the
communication of science to lay and professional audiences.
Job Description
The incumbent will provide high
level administrative support, including the management of special projects and events for the Lab leaders and junior faculty. Provide high

and long term calendar planning, exercising considerable judgment about multiple demands on the senior leader’s time, coordinating and
planning among the executive assistants of the School’s leadership team, troubleshooting and resolving scheduling conflicts. Manage travel
arrangements. Updating and maintaining CV and FEDS database. Prepare and format written correspondence/presentations with a high level of
accuracy on behalf of the executive team, ensuring that all correspondence and other written materials/presentations are prepared in a
timely fashion. Manage calendar planning for other lab leaders/faculty.
Job Responsibilities
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science and 3 to 5 years of
experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Candidate should be organized, professional, and have the
ability to multi-task. Experience in a biomedical setting preferred. This position requires excellent organizational and interpersonal
skills, and the ability to thrive in an environment with competing deadlines and priorities. Strong oral and written communication skills,
advanced level computing skills including all facets of Microsoft Office, and the ability to effectively utilize online resources are
required. Knowledge of Concur and BEN Financials is highly desirable.
