Our ideal candidate will assist Penn Dental Family Medicine’s clinical departments in providing patient-focused experiences supporting the delivery of high-quality care.
PATIENT EXPERIENCE:
Professionally greet & assist patients in scheduling appointments.
Consistently demonstrate concern and courtesy for colleagues and patients, following up with individuals to ensure satisfaction with the level of service expected.
PATIENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accurately gather new patient demographics, insurance and/or financial information to establish/update patient’s account. Verify patient insurance as pre-appointment activity.
Resolve patient inquiries and concerns and/or provide support in connecting patients to department or party who can provide resolution.
Review appointment book in support of maintaining productive & efficient patient flow.
Dedication to learning and professional development.
Other duties as assigned.
A High School Diploma or GED and 1 year to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Experience with windows based software required. Axium dental software experience preferred. One to Two years’ experience in professional office setting required. Knowledge of dental terminology and dental procedures preferred. Excellent customer service skills required. Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
