support for mixed method, community-based, and clinical research studies. As part of the MMRL team, the Junior Analyst will assist with data management; cleaning, formatting, and preparing transcripts; as well as supporting the coding and analysis of qualitative research data.

This position is contingent upon funding.Job Description

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in recruitment efforts, writing IRB protocols, and qualitative data collection (including interviewing, group moderation, note taking, and participant observations).
• Support the study team in coding and analysis and may be asked to participate in team meetings and synthesize themes in qualitative data.
• Responsible for some data handling – including cleaning, formatting, and preparing transcripts and other data for coding and analysis.
• Entering survey and screening data into REDCap, MS Access, and NVivo Databases.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 0 to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Experience in qualitative research, subject recruitment, and data collection, is desired. Knowledge of NVivo and RedCap are encouraged. Successful candidates will have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; and will have the ability to work both independently, and collaboratively in teams.
