Job Description Summary
Reporting to the Administrative Director of the MSW Program, the Community-Engaged Professional Education Administrator will work collaboratively with the Administrative Director of the MSW Program, Associate Field Directors, and MSSP and NPL Administrative Directors to provide leadership in advancing the School’s capacity to enhance its evidence base of student community-engaged learning. The candidate will apply knowledge and skills related to data management and analysis in order to strengthen overall program quality, develop community partnerships, expand SP2’s impact in the Philadelphia region, and ensure alignment with Council on Social Work Education accreditation reporting requirements.
The position will work to create and improve operations and program evaluation of Community-Engaged Professional Education by designing, building, managing, and improving databases, workflows, reporting systems, and training programs. The Community-Engaged Professional Education Administrator will partner with SP2 Information Services, outside database vendors, SP2 students, agency-based personnel, SP2 practice instructors, and SP2 field liaisons to create optimal community-engaged education systems and experiences for agencies, students, liaisons, and practice course instructors. The candidate will independently develop and implement program evaluation strategies in order to identify strengths and areas for improvement in community-engaged professional education for all Master’s students at SP2.
The Community-Engaged Professional Education Administrator will interface with the SP2 Admissions Office and Registrar and will work with University data systems to assure that incoming and current students are correctly placed in data systems that track field placements, internships, practica and related courses, as applicable. This position will develop and implement multidimensional assessments of community-engaged placement opportunities and experiences. The Community-Engaged Professional Education Administrator is responsible for community-engaged education-related communications to all stakeholders, evaluation and documentation submissions, community-engaged education-related data management for reporting and reference; and training all staff, faculty, and students in the use of all community-engaged professional education-related technology.
All SP2 staff are required to participate in convocation and graduation ceremonies as needed.
