This individual will also be responsible for providing regulatory support, data entry into electronic data capture systems (e-CRFs), appropriate reporting of AEs and SAEs to the sponsor and IRB per protocols, and will ensure all data entry requests and subsequent queries, including monitor findings, are addressed in a timely manner. The CRC-B will participate in study meetings, and site visits (eg SIVs, monitoring, and audits). The CRC-B will also be responsible for 24/7 on call activity in rotation with other clinical research coordinators. Additionally, the CRC-B will conduct phone interviews and verbally consent if indicated for studies/repositories.
The Clinical Research Coordinator C (CRC-C) will have the responsibilities described above working with minimal to no daily supervision. The CRC-C will also be a resource for best practices of managing major clinical trials. The Clinical Research Coordinator C may also be responsible for collaborating with faculty in the development of investigator initiated protocols, analysis of clinical data to determine response and clinical outcomes, and contribute to preparation of some study manuscripts and grant applications.
