The Associate Director of ITMAT Education Programs is responsible for leading strategic development to grow the clinical research professional workforce. This position manages all academic and operational aspects of the Master of Regulatory Affairs, the certificate in Regulatory Affairs, and a new certificate program in Clinical Research Nursing. Working with the ITMAT Education faculty and staff, the AD leads the development, implementation, administration, and revision of the curricula through the analyses of course and program evaluations. The AD is responsible for managing the Admissions and Curriculum Committees. The AD leads the admissions process, addressing strategic growth opportunities. The AD develops and executes new initiatives, which may include expanded recruitment methods, dual-degree development, career and professional development offerings, alumni initiatives, internships, and new curricular concentrations/courses. This role will also serve as a student advisor to oversee academic progress and support student engagement and programming. It is expected that the AD bring new ideas and approaches to cultivate an online community amongst students. The AD will supervise the Instructional Designer.
The AD will work closely with ITMAT Ed staff to integrate activities across the education portfolio. The AD will participate in grant proposal development and assist with administrative components for all ITMAT Ed education grants.
Responsibilities:
Lead the overall academic and operational aspects of the Master of Regulatory Affairs degree, Regulatory Affairs certificate, and Clinical Research Nursing Certificate programs. Lead curriculum development, management, and review; support the program committee, provide recommendations, and implement changes. Partner with faculty to develop effective online teaching strategies including but not limited to: the use of educational technology tools, interactive assessments, media based content, and online meeting platforms. Standardize and increase overall quality of courses in the program.
Lead the admissions processes for these programs, which includes developing marketing materials, recruiting students, processing applications, managing the interviews, supporting the admissions committee, onboarding new students, and running the new student orientation.
Lead strategic planning to address gaps and opportunities for training clinical research professionals. Develop and execute new initiatives including expanded recruitment methods, dual-degree development, career and professional development offerings, alumni initiatives, internships, and new curricular concentrations/courses.
Integrate workforce development efforts across ITMAT Ed. Participate in grant proposal development. Assist with the administrative components for all ITMAT Ed training grants.
Serve as advisor to students for all program needs: Track student progress, advise students, maintain student records, clear students for graduation, and generate term audits.
Supervise the Instructional Designer.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Targeted Pay Range: $75,000- $85,000
