Prepare and file Prevailing Wage Determination Requests and Labor Condition Applications with the US Department of Labor, and I-129s with US Citizenship and Immigration Services, including any follow-up, tracking, and responding to time-sensitive audits and requests for (additional) evidence.
In addition to H-1Bs, process and file applications with USCIS and/or DOL for E-3s and TNs Advise and provide information and guidance to Penn departments (including the University of Pennsylvania Health System) on regulations and policies related to nonimmigrant status (F-1, J-1, H-1B, TN, E-3, O-1, B-1/B-2, etc.) Administer F and J programs as Designated School Official (DSO) and Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO). Also represent the University in applications/communications with federal, state, and local agencies, including
Department of Homeland Security, Department of Labor, Department of State, PENNDOT, Social Security Administration. Process eform requests. Create, develop, and implement immigration workshops for international students, scholars, employees, and hiring/hosting departments, and attend integration
