Position Description:
Implements financial literacy programming for campus; serves as counselor for prospective and current students; responsible for hiring, scheduling, training, professional development and supervising student managers, student advisors and telephone counselors; provides financial aid outreach; awards and adjusts financial aid packages; and participates in multicultural student recruitment and retention activities.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Required Qualifications:
Public speaking experience and excellent communication skills, including written and verbal communication skills required. Student experience will be considered.
Desirable Qualifications:
Student financial aid experience; experience counseling college students in a college setting; multicultural recruitment and retention experience; and bilingual speaking abilities preferred. Student experience will be considered.
