Position Summary
The University of North Texas at Dallas invites applications for the position of Lecturer of Information Technology beginning Fall 2022. This is a full-time, non-tenure track position. The successful candidate will be expected to achieve excellence in teaching and service, and to assist in further development of the UNT-Dallas Information Technology program. UNT-Dallas offers faculty the unique opportunity to help shape the character of a 21st century, learner-focused, urban comprehensive university.
RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is responsible for teaching four (4) courses per semester. The successful applicant will be expected to participate in such service activities as program development, course development, program assessment, program accreditation, and committee leadership. The successful applicant will also be expected to provide instruction in a full range of undergraduate Information Technology courses that include, but are not limited to Object-Oriented Programming, Human Computer Interfaces, Digital Logic, Operating Systems, and IT Project Management.
