General Description / Primary Purpose:
The University of North Florida Department of Nutrition & Dietetics invites applications for a 9-month Nutrition Assistant Professor, tenure-track, starting in Fall 2024.
Job Function:
Responsibilities include teaching in the undergraduate and graduate programs; assisting with accreditation duties; mentoring/advising students; performing service to the department, college, university, and the profession.

Faculty Position Required Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a doctoral degree in Nutrition or a related field by August 2, 2024, be a registered dietitian, have experience teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses, have a record of service to the profession and have a record of, or potential for scholarly research leading to peer-reviewed publications.
Preferred qualifications: Experience teaching nutrition education and counseling, community nutrition, and other related courses; experience in community-engaged research, and familiarity with primary and/or secondary data analysis.
This is not a remote position. The successful candidate will be required to work at the UNF campus in Jacksonville, Florida.
