Key Responsibilities:
Conduct key fiscal duties such as entering purchase orders, ensuring
payment of invoices,
approving expense reports, etc.
Prepare and present accurate monthly post award financial
reports managing all grant activities including award goals, objectives and deliverables are carried out within the specific budget and
time-frame ensuring all grant activities are compliant with the policies, procedures and regulations of the University and project
sponsors.
Ensure expenditures on both internal and external awards to be compliant with sponsors
guidelines.
Interact with University grants and contract administers to provide information and resolve problems
promptly.
Assist in preparation of annual budgets and budget adjustments including effort verification and forecasting.
Includes overseeing or preparing payroll correcting entries.
Perform reconciliation of internal records in university
financial system.
Engage in appropriate professional development.
Assist in preparation of funding proposals,
contract budgets, reports and financial statements.
Coordinate Human Resources activities for the unit, in conjunction with
the CEHD HR.
May mentor (or supervise as needed) others in completing finance and business duties

Salary Range: $22.00-$24.00/hour

Minimum Qualifications
A
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable
knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree and at least 3
years of experience in a related field.
