Title: Program Operations Manager, Department of Community Development
Appointment: Administrative Associate 3 (7208A3), Full-time, Civil Service
Office Location: St. Paul Campus
Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000 estimated salary range; depending on qualifications

ABOUT THE POSITION
This is a full-time position with the University of Minnesota Extension Department of Community Development. The position will have primary responsibility for leading, managing and implementing in the following functional areas: administrative operations and staff supervision, finance and revenue, strategic partnerships, and marketing and communications. They will be a key member and facilitate the meetings of the Department of Community Development leadership team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative Operations and Staff Supervision (35%)
Coordinate program teams in the production of written materials, research, and educational publications, assuring quality control and Extension branding.
Finance and Revenue: (30%)
Identify and Maintain Strategic Partnerships: (25%)
Marketing and Communications (10%)
ADMINISTRATIVE RELATIONSHIPS
This person reports to the Associate Dean for the Extension Department for Community Development. Performance will be evaluated annually based on the position responsibilities and specific work plan for the year, using Extension performance appraisal procedures.
TRAVEL
Some limited in-state travel is required to perform the duties of this position. However, this is not a main feature of the position. There will be reimbursement for mileage, food, and/or lodging available in accordance with University and Extension Service policies.
