University of Minnesota Hiring for Assistant Director of Player Personnel at Minneapolis, MN  Full Time

Duties:

Assist with official/unofficial visits of prospective student-athletes (30%)

• Help schedule official visits
• Schedule unofficial visits – Coordinate staff schedule/create itineraries/transportation reservations/facility schedule
• During visits, as a recruiting staff, we will coordinate anywhere from 2 to 48 hours of time for every prospective student-athlete who is on campus.

Social media and marketing (35%)

• Oversee social media and marketing plan of the football recruiting department.
• Organize recruiting information for football staff.
• Create a brand/marketing plan to communicate essential information with prospects.
• Heavily involved in developing material to market the program.
• Create delivery plan/calendar to efficiently produce material and direct it to recruits.

Develop Relationships and Communicate with Prospective Student-Athletes (20%)

• Cultivate and build relationships with prospective student-athletes
• Manage the organization of scouting information

Administration (15%)

• Assist with compliance of the recruiting operation of the football program
• Organize recruiting information for football staff
• Track down all personal data including GPA, test scores, addresses, parent names, etc.
• Monitor the athletic evaluations complete by the football staff
• Assist in the advancing the department’s missions, vision and strategic plan including its commitment to equity and diversity.

Annual salary for this position is $48,000 – $50,000.

Qualifications:

Required:
* Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and experience totaling at least four years.

*Valid Driver’s License

Preferred:
* Master’s degree
* 1 year of Football recruiting experience
