Summary
Integrative Systems + Design (ISD) is an innovative academic unit in the College of Engineering (CoE) that is dedicated to educating leaders who can think transformatively and create lasting value in the workplace and society. ISD seeks applicants for two (2) open Intermittent Lecturer positions for Winter 2024 term only.
These Intermittent Lecturer positions will be expected to co-teach a graduate level course in Modeling, Analysis, and Control of Hybrid Electric Vehicles. The expected percentage of effort for one course is 30% per term, pro-rated if co-teaching.
This course involves modeling, analysis and control of vehicles with electrified propulsion systems, including electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles, plug-in and fuel cell vehicles. Introduction of the concepts and technology, the state of the art development, energy conversion and storage options, modeling, analysis, system integration and basic principles of vehicle controls.
