The University of Michigan Department of Urology exists to cure or reduce suffering from urologic disease and disability through comprehensive urologic education of the next generation of leaders in urology within a milieu of exceptional, innovative, and collaborative urologic care and research.
Responsibilities*
The successful candidate will have a clinical focus in General Urology. This position will be located in Muskegon, Michigan for the University of Michigan Department of Urology. The candidate will provide outstanding clinical service and teaching through the urology clinics and in-patient services and as determined by Departmental and West Shore General Urology Division strategic planning. Operative procedures will be performed in Muskegon. We expect two and a half days of clinic and two days of OR per week and 10% dedicated administrative or academic time (representing one half day) to perform administrative tasks. There is also the opportunity to perform and publish in the area of your interest as well. A portion of activities will involve the education of medical students, residents, fellows, and other allied health personnel within Urology and other departments. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the weekly Urology Grand Rounds.

Required Qualifications*
The selected candidate must have an M.D. or D.O. and be Board Certified or Board eligible. Successful applicants will have completed a urology residency. The candidate must hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the State of Michigan.
