The University of Maryland, Baltimore Student Counseling Center has an opportunity for a full-time Psychoeducational Testing
Psychologist. The Student Counseling Center is a part of UMB Student Affairs, a unit associated with the Office of the
Provost. The selected candidate will work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary Student Counseling Center team.
This position is responsible for providing comprehensive, culturally aware, psychoeducational evaluations of undergraduate, graduate, and
professional students referred for potential diagnoses of learning disabilities, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), or other
psychological conditions that impact their learning. Students may be referred through the Student Counseling Center or Educational Support
and Disability Services, recommendation by an academic faculty or staff member, or self-referred. The person in this position will screen
students seeking evaluations, select and administer culturally appropriate assessment measures, analyze results, compile diagnostic reports,
and provide feedback to students. Diagnostic reports would be provided to students to share with appropriate healthcare providers and/or to
request academic accommodations. The Psychoeducational Testing Psychologist will also develop and facilitate workshops to the University
community about learning disorders and ADHD in adult learners, study skills and strategies for UMB students, and other related topics. This
position will supervise staff and students in the academic and professional development coaching program who are trained to provide
one-to-one coaching to students focused on developing effective study skills and work habits, improving time management, or progression on
professional goals. The Psychoeducational Testing Psychologist will contribute to the externship training program in the Student
Counseling Center through consultation, leading didactic seminars, and potentially supervising a doctoral-level psychology extern for one
comprehensive psychoeducational evaluation case.

Qualifications
Education: Doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling
Psychology (PhD) or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) preferably from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited
program.Experience: One (1) year of related experience.Preferred Experience: Experience
designing and implementing effective strategies for supporting the success of students preferred. Direct work experience with college
students and/or graduate students preferred.Certification/Licensure: Licensed psychologist in the state of Maryland or
eligibility for licensure in the State of Maryland.Other: No substitution of experience for minimum education
requirement.
