The University of Maine at Augusta is seeking
an Assistant Program Manager to help lead our
new Aircraft Maintenance Technician School that will be opening for the Fall Semester 2024. This is a full-time,
fixed-length appointment through December 31, 2025. This is a soft money-funded position. The continuation of this position beyond this date
is contingent upon funding and the needs of the university.
The Aircraft Maintenance Technician School (AMTS) Assistant Program
Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the AMTS Program Manager in overseeing the Aircraft Maintenance Technician School. They will
be responsible for assisting in curriculum delivery, ensuring program training is in compliance with related Federal Aviation Administration
(FAA) regulations and University standards, managing day-to-day operations for the program, and fostering a conducive environment for our
students. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to shape the future of aviation maintenance education and
contribute to the success of our students.
The successful candidate will have experience with a wide range of aircraft maintenance
and repair, electronics, FAA regulations, physics for AMTS, and mathematical functions. They may be required to teach classes when needed
and travel to other UMA or University of Maine System (UMS) locations.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evenings and weekends as
necessary.
