Job Summary
The Student Affairs Officer III is an important part of the admissions team at the University of Kentucky Rosenberg College of Law.
Under general direction, this position recruits qualified applicants to UK Rosenberg College of Law. The Student Affairs Officer III will be the point of contact for prospective students and will serve as a resource for undergraduate advisors. In addition, the position will maintain a knowledge of not only UK Law recruiting efforts but also those at benchmark institutions. They will represent UK Law at job fairs, college/university visits, LSAC Forums, etc. In addition, they will manage the travel of all those attending recruitment events on behalf of UK Law. Weekend travel may be required during the fall each year.
They will also develop, manage, and oversee prospective and admitted student visits to UK Law; supervise and advise the Admissions Recruitment Committee; develop and coordinate Alumni Recruitment efforts and manage admissions events.
As the key point person for prospective students, the Student Affairs Officer III will develop, implement and manage a communication and social media plan for UK Law Admissions (under coordination with Director of Marketing & Communications).
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Experience with event coordination and working with students. Highly organized with the ability to manage timelines, speak publicly, and maintain flexibility with tasks.

Experience with higher education admission programs and/or corporate recruitment is preferred.
