Job Summary
The College of Medicine is currently seeking a highly-skilled and customer-service oriented Administrative Operations Coordinator to assist with day-to-day functions as well as provide project support and leadership for the College of Medicine Office of Research.
This individual will manage activities, provide high-level professional support, and assist with managing the flow of information from the Office of Research. Will also serve as a liaison with University-wide administrators and external constituents. The position reports to the Associate Dean for Research Administration and will have frequent interaction with faculty, staff, and students.
Will also interact frequently with senior administrative leadership for the University and College. This is a fast-paced environment requiring the ability to manage multiple detailed tasks while providing professional support and service.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
The successful candidate will have the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, exceptional customer service, strong verbal and written communication skills, and a high level of attention to detail. Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is important including creating spreadsheets and presentations. Experience with systems such as Concur, SAP, and REDCap (research) preferred.

Experience in administrative support of research and/or grant-related activities strongly preferred. Experience with systems such as Concur, SAP, and REDCap (research) preferred.
