Job Description Summary:
This position is responsible for working collaboratively with
multidisciplinary teams, research, and hospital staff to recruit, screen, educate, and assist in the overall clinical study coordination of
clinical research.
The Clinical Research Respiratory Therapist Coordinator (RT-CRC) will manage clinical research studies by
coordinating and participating in a variety of complex activities involved in the collection, compilation, documentation, and analysis of
clinical research data. Monitor participants’ progress including documenting and reporting adverse events. Participate in periodic quality
assurance audits of protocols.
The RT-CRC will also provide staff training, be assigned specific duties related to procedures that
require RT licensure and expertise, PI and protocol requirements. The RT-CRC provides guidance and support to staff in training, management,
provision and coordination of trials in their area of expertise.
The anticipated starting salary is $65,000-$68,000 commensurate
with experience.

Compensation Statement:
The pay range listed for this position is determined by our compensation
program using market data and salary benchmarking. A combination of factors is considered in making compensation decisions including, but
not limited to, education, experience and training, qualifications relative to the requirements of the position, and funding. At the
University of Kansas Medical Center, a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range,
taking into account the combination of factors listed above.
