Trial Advocacy, Trial Team, Moot Court, and Legal Studies Minor

The University of Illinois College of Law is seeking a Visiting Law Advisor to provide academic guidance, coaching and support to Law students in the Trial Advocacy, Trial Team, and Moot Court programs, and to undergraduate students in the Legal Studies Minor. This position also coaches members of the Undergraduate Trial Team and provides coordination for the Anderson Center.
This is a fulltime, visiting, 12-month appointment commencing in August 2022. Salary is commensurate with experience. This position is eligible for University of Illinois benefit programs.

Major duties and responsibilities include:
Advising, Coaching and Mentoring (60%)
Administrative Support (20%)
Program and Curriculum Development (20%)
This position requires a Juris Doctor degree and success in some combination in of Trial Advocacy, Trial Team, Client Counseling, Moot Court, or similar law school programs and activities. Passage of a state bar exam preferred.
