Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Clinical Oncology,
School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 525726) (to commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis for three years, with the
possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability).
The Department provides an open, supportive,
dynamic, and motivating academic environment with the possibility to work on cutting-edge research projects related to the single-cell
spatial transcriptome study with integrated genomic data to elucidate the mechanisms of immunosuppression and cancer metastasis. The
activities of PDF will be integrated into a multidisciplinary team with bioinformaticians, biologists, and clinical oncologists.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Sciences, Bioinformatics, Bioengineering, Computer Science, or a related
discipline, with an excellent research publication record and strong computational programming skills. Preference will be given to those
with previous experience in one or more of the following areas: development of methods for multi-omics data integration, application of
artificial intelligence models in life science, single-cell data analysis, and spatial transcriptome analysis. Applicants should be
self-motivated, able to work independently as well as in a team, and able to help supervise PhD students. They should also have excellent
communication skills in written and spoken English, good troubleshooting skills, and effective collaboration skills.
