Student Affairs & Inclusive Excellence (SAIE) is the central student affairs division of the University of Denver.

Information Technology/Enterprise Application Services (IT/EAS)
Dedicated to quality, innovation, engagement, integrity, and inclusion, Information Technology/Enterprise Application Services (IT/EAS) maintains the highest standards in providing a wide range of software solutions to units throughout the University. IT/EAS maintains software systems that support the Universitys core business as well as develops custom applications in partnership with DU departments to enhance services to our community. Our services range from consultation to implementation to continuous support of software solutions. Services include:
IT/EAS ensures the current and future software applications are efficient and effective, maintains an appropriate balance between leading-edge activities and core business processes, and provides appropriate information access and data security.
IT/EAS is responsible for all aspects of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Database Management, Data Warehouse administration, Information Analytics (BI), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Learning Management System (LMS), Document Management, and Workflow.
Position Summary
The Business Analyst I reports to the IT/Enterprise Application Services (IT/EAS) department within the central technology division of Information Technology (IT). The Business Analyst is physically located in the Division of Student Affairs and Inclusive Excellence (SAIE) as part of the 4D student experience team and works in close collaboration with the teams in IT/EAS, SAIE, and 4D.
The Business Analyst is primarily responsible for the configuration and support of multiple applications (e.g. Mentorship (PeopleGrove), Student Organizations and Events (CampusGroups), Salesforce, etc.), business process needs analysis, and data reporting and analysis. This position will interface with the SAIE/4D teams, software vendors, and IT/EAS application developers to maintain and support applications and interfaces. This position will also be responsible for responding to production support issues, coordinating system enhancements and upgrades, writing ad-hoc reports, managing cross-functional projects, and providing day-to-day application support to the SAIE and 4D staff.
This is an appointed position funded for a one-year term. The position may be extended if additional funding is acquired.

In accordance with the Universitys flexible work policy, this position is eligible to be considered for partial remote work. Further details regarding this plan will be determined with the hiring manager and are dependent on the division and team specific needs.

Salary Grade Number:
The salary grade for the position is 10.
Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is $60,000 – $70,000.
The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidates sex or any other protected status.
