JOB SUMMARY
The School of Business Undergraduate Programs Office (UPO) is seeking a full-time Student Experience Specialist & Academic Advisor (Student Services Program Administrator). The incumbent will report to the Executive Director for Undergraduate Programs and will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of student programs or service areas through the development, implementation, and coordination of student development programs in the School of Business UPO.
This position advises undergraduate students about academic programs, plans of study, and policies. It provides administrative oversight for the coordination and implementation of programs intended to increase student retention and academic success.
This position also contributes to the professional development of students interested in business through implementing developmental experiences and administrative activities associated with the co-curriculum learning environment at the Stamford campus. This individual will provide support and guidance to student-run initiatives, including business student organizations. In addition, this individual will develop and support programming for students that builds the culture of the campus community while elevating the business acumen of students.
The position will be based at the Stamford campus but will require occasional in-state or out-of-state travel and evenings or weekend hours in support of program activities.

This is a full-time position based in Stamford, CT. Other rights, terms, and conditions of employment are contained in the collective bargaining agreement between the University of Connecticut and the University of Connecticut Professional Employees Association (UCPEA).
