JOB SUMMARY
The Connecticut Transportation Institute (CTI) at the University of Connecticut operates within the School of Engineering. CTI’s mission is to conduct integrated multidisciplinary research, education, and related services that promote safety and efficiency in multi-modal passenger and freight transportation systems and, in turn, enhance livable communities, sustainable economies, and the environment. CTI is searching for an experienced software developer to lead a team of programmers in the delivery of an enterprise transportation safety and research application. This position will assist in the research and development of enterprise software for transportation safety data collection and analysis systems in the State of Connecticut. This position will work closely with the Connecticut Department of Transportation to develop applications to query, visualize, and analyze transportation related data.

APPOINTMENT TERMS
This is a full-time, 12-month, position that will renew annually based on funding and performance. The University offers a competitive salary, outstanding benefits (https://hr.uconn.edu/benefits-beyond-pay/) including employee and dependent tuition waivers at UConn, and a highly desirable work environment. The hiring range for this position is $95,000- $115,000. Salary will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s background and experience.
