JOB SUMMARY
The Center for Open Research Resources & Equipment (COR²E, https://core.uconn.edu) within the Office of the Vice President for Research, has an immediate opening for a full-time, 12-month Financial Assistant 2/Biosupply Coordinator. The Biosupply facility provides biological research supplies and full-service stock room services with the goal of simplifying research supply ordering and receiving for COR²E facilities plus over 100 laboratories across multiple departments at the University. In addition to maintaining a constant stock of commonly utilized consumables, the facility works with a wide variety of vendors to provide cost-savings to faculty on a wide variety of scientific equipment and reagents. Furthermore, the new hire will directly support the mission of COR²E by managing special product orders from a wide variety of vendors, log received COR²E orders, and manage/approve invoices.

This is a full-time, permanent position.
